Lisa Gizara is a fabulous artist and one that I am proud to say we represent in Erinn V Maison. So I wasn’t surprised–though I was thrilled–to find out that her paintings were recently featured on the oh-so-steamy and popular show, Mad Men. Can you say Don Draper, anyone? The catch is that, as you probably know, Mad Men is set in the 1960s with strict era-centric rules when it comes to set design and costuming. But Gizara is no stranger to creating art for TV and film sets, as her work has been featured on Modern Family, Castle and Californication, to name a few. The pieces that were chosen for Mad Men are reminiscent of 60s abstract expressionism, and are show-stopping to say the least. The Huffington Post recently wrote an article about them, which you can see here. Or, if you want to enjoy some of Gizara’s impeccable photography work in person, stop by Erinn V Maison!
Thanks to the Huffington Post for the images.
