Artists I Love: Jeremiah Goodman

los angeles designer

When you analyze rooms and décor as much as I do, it’s hard to imaging a painting of a room that could put the real life space to shame…but Jeremiah Goodman’s works do just that. His paintings seem to accentuate the best parts of a space: the light, the color and most importantly, the feeling. By looking at his artworks, you get an immediate sense of what the room might feel like, of what happened there and the relationships that existed within its walls. It’s an important aspect of interior design that all too often goes unsaid: most designers strive to create spaces that people feel good in, those which foster the connected experiences we all hope to have on a daily basis. And I think that’s why I love Goodman’s paintings so much: because they seem to capture and express not only the beauty of a space, but also the emotions and love that a room accumulates once it’s been lived in.
